About Me

I have benefited from counseling at many points in my life and am a firm believer in the healing nature of the counseling process. I have spent 10+ years working in community mental health facilities doing case management, assessment, and substance abuse counseling.
I look forward to meeting you!

My thoughts on healing & support
Sometimes life feels heavy. Trouble at work, problems in your relationships, the isolation of modern life. Maybe you feel like you don't know who you are anymore. Maybe you had a difficult childhood that you can't seem to break away from. It can all feel like too much sometimes, bringing up intense feelings of anxiety, anger, depression, loneliness, grief. If any of this sounds like you, I can definitely help. I work with adults and couples struggling with big emotions. My clients often want to understand how their past experiences and traumas have impacted their current difficulties. They also want to learn how to create a more peaceful and enthusiastic life for themselves.
Together we will work on understanding your story and acknowledging your strengths. I aim to be a support, a sounding board, and a guide. If you’d like, we can also work on strategies to better navigate your situation including emotional management, relationship skills, mindfulness, and/or motivational strategies.
I believe each of us has the power within us to overcome our past and present difficulties to create the life we want. Often, it can be so helpful to have a guide to walk with you through this process. I look forward to being that person for you. Feel free to get in touch today, so we can chat about your therapy goals and schedule your first session.
